The Norfolk Longbook - Submission Details

 

Page Details:

Work sent in will be bound into the long

book and can be of any subject although must be Norfolk

inspired, the submissions can be in various forms: paintings,

drawings, illustrations, textiles, poems or short stories and

personal memoirs recounting an event or personal memory.

Only original work can be accepted, photocopies are not 

admissible.

Handwritten or text produced on old typewriters are preferred.

This is so that 'the human touch' is present in your work.

 

Please use good quality (unlined) paper for all written or typed

textual work.

You may prefer to have your poem or text written

by a calligrapher or printed by traditional letterpress,

both of which can be arranged through turn the page

for an acceptable fee.

 

Page Specifications:

Submissions can be in a variety of mediums as long as

they are able to lay flat (no more than 5mm depth), suitable for

being bound into a book.

 

Most importantly submissions also need to comply with the

following measurements :

The maximum length must not exceed 26cm

The maximum width must not exceed 18cm 

Dimensions are smaller but that fit within those above can be accepted.

Please bear in mind your work will be mounted onto an A4 portrait format

sheet and may be placed on a page with other suitably compatible work.
